The Battery Balancer equalizes the state of charge of two 12V batteries connected in series or multiple parallel strings of batteries connected in series. If the charge voltage of a 24V battery system rises above 27V, the Battery Balancer activates and compares the voltage of the two series-connected batteries. The Battery Balancer draws a current of up to 1A from the battery (or parallel-connected batteries) with the highest voltage. The resulting charge current difference ensures that all batteries transition to the same state of charge.

If necessary, multiple Battery Balancers can be connected in parallel.
A 48V battery bank can be equalized with three Battery Balancers.
