De Smart BMS CL 12/100 is een Accubeheersysteem voor Victron lithium-ijzer-fosfaat (LiFePO4) Smart-accu's. Het werd specifiek ontworpen voor 12V-systemen met een 12V-alternator.
De BMS CL 12/100 controleert en beschermt elke individuele accucel binnen de accu (of accubank) en zal de alternator, oplaadbronnen of DC-ladingen ontkoppelen bij laagspanning, hoogspanning of overtemperatuur.
De specifieke alternatorinput biedt stroombeperking en eenrichtingsverkeer van de alternator naar de accu, dit zodat een alternator (en startaccu) van om het even welke grootte veilig verbonden kan worden met de Smart Lithium-accu of -accu's.
De BMS is ook uitgerust met remote aan/uit verbindingsstuk om de BMS (en het systeem) uit te schakelen via een remote schakelaar en een pre-alarm contact, om een waarschuwingssignaal te geven voordat de BMS de accu's uit het systeem zal ontkoppelen.
