GX Tank 140
The GX Tank 140 can read up to four tank level sensors. It's an accessory for our GX system monitoring product line, of which the Cerbo GX is the most commonly used model.
Tank levels can be read locally in the system, see screenshot, but also remotely via our VRM Portal .
The GX Tank 140 is compatible with both current sensors (4 to 20 mA) and voltage sensors (0 to 10 V). It connects to the GX device via USB, which is also how the GX Tank 140 is powered: no additional power cables are required.
The tank sensor wiring is kept as simple as possible: two of the four inputs provide a 24V power source to power the sensor. The other two channels require an external power source. A power terminal block and fused outputs are provided for this purpose.
The high and low level are adjustable, so that sensors that only use a part of the scale can also be used, for example 0 to 5V.
To ensure stable readings, measurements can be muted. The muting time can be configured between 1 and 60 seconds.
Faulty sensors and wiring problems are detected: an alarm is generated if the values are out of range.
For onboard use, the GX device can send these tank levels on the NMEA 2000 network so they can be received by other displays such as an MFD.
